For the past two decades, I have focused on processing financial data and getting information into the hands of decision makers. I have worked as a freelance bookkeeper since 2005. Prior to that, I spent ten years at Wells Fargo and another ten in various accounting positions. My titles have included controller, staff accountant, financial analyst, commercial loan officer and business owner. I have worked with a wide variety of managers, owners and investors.
I have two degrees - a Bachelor's in Finance and a Master's in Agribusiness.
My family moved to the Valley in 1976. I went to Shadow Mountain High School and Arizona State University. After college, I taught at a vocational school in Kenya, with the US Peace Corps.
I have volunteered with a variety of community organizations, including Scottsdale International Film Festival, 1n10, Arizona Community Foundation, Free Arts and the Global Fellows Program at ASU.
I am a member of the following business groups: Greater Phoenix Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce, Local First Arizona and Arizona Small Business Association.
